it was more a poke at the irony of a person who switched to a Pathfinder commenting on lowness.

How smooth are the Ohlins? I'm 99% sure they are my next purchase

I haven't had much time to drive on them or mess with the dampening, but from what I have done, they are very smooth. I'm really happy with how they perform.

Chirp- I know it took me along time. I finally decided that coilovers weren't practical for my application. I wanted a spring/strut combo that was dampening adjustable, and well made. Koni's were the first option but honestly Koni's are a pain in the arse to adjust out back, not to mention install in the front. KYB's are crap and there really wasn't any other choices out there. I found these, a knew I had to have them. I just ordered some sportlines to have fresh shocks. I have no idea the mileage or age of the ones on there already. I think I'm just going to fork over the cash and get camber plates for the front as well...

Thanks again to all the compliments and comments that everyone has left besides KC...

Always like your car, one of my favorites. Basically the same exact thing I want my car to look like, funny my car is the same color too.

That almost looks like mine ride height.. I just installed a set of tein coils on mine and didn't want to go too low, I also got 18's, and they already rubbing in the front ALOT.. and have slight roll.

Your car is sex man, def looking good for the spring/strut combo.. I would personally go just alittle bit lower (I mean maybe 0.5 inch to 1 inch max) and do some slight work to the fenders if needed and settle there.. As for me, once summer starts im going to camber the crap out of my rear and stretch my tires, and tuck those babies in..

Alright, so my Sportlines came in today. So I took the liberty to putting them on and taking more pictures, I mean what else was I going to do? Let them sit in the box? Here's the pictures, do we have a write-up for installing struts/springs?

Eibach FTW...

Comparison of the Ohlins springs(atleast that's what I think they are) vs Eibach sportlines

I know they are upside down, trust me I didn't install them like this.

What the fronts look like on my car w/ old springs.

And the final product... Overall, the springs raised the front by roughly a 1/4" and lowered the rear by a 1/2". Totally satisfied how everything turned out.

Very pleased with how it all turned out. I ended up not getting the camber plates at this time, but when I do bushings and RUCA's I'll get them. Thanks again for all the comments, compliments and those that took a look.

Nice color and looks real good low, especially since you pulled it off with springs and not coilovers.

Tint is 5%...

98- Those springs are going to be rock hard... Good thing is though, you can get lower spring rates for them. I actually have some Eibachs here that could possibly fit the shock you have it you want them. Just measure the length and diameter and Ill let you know if they work.

Bri- I'm telling you man, you need to search on Rinkya.com. You aren't going to find anything like that over here because Ohlins never distributed them in the US.

225/45/18's in the front and 245/40/18's in the rear.

Although I just put 245/45/18's in the rear tonight.

I put 525lb springs on them for now, I'd eventually like to go as low as 400 but I'll try these for now. They're metric 150.64.92 which is 0600.250. 0525 and I really want a 0500.250.0400 but I don't think they make them. The ground control setup should be good for tire clearance though so I'm happy. Now I just need rears, although I think I'm going inverted rear also unlike yours

This is what I get for being on multiple forums haha. I was thinking of a guy on nissanroadracing that has basic rear Ohlins.
