Or, read the European Patent Application, the Infiniti VVEL Technical paper, and the posts about this in various forums (including BITOG, which contains the responses to the patent application), and make up your own mind.

not unless there is a problem,I have had my oil changed twice since I got itand no Ester oil needed. by the way only 7K miles on it,unlike some I go with 3K or every 3 months regardless,I hope this makes JackO happy!
