I personally like the emblems on cars... especially the ones on the G37. It adds "bling". :P

And if I did it, I'd keep only the logo and remove the words/model designator.

Different strokes for different folks

Id leave the Infiniti Logo emblem only IMO also. It gives the tail a more balanced look. If they dont know what model they are looking at... then they dont deserve to look! LOL

My body shop guy says its pretty easy to do. They are held on by adhesive. On a hot day its best. Or use a hairdryer to warm it up. He takes a small putty spatula and works it CAREFULLY off! Good luck!

Fishing line (and maybe dental floss) should work. Just pull slowly and toward the emblem, and work it down behind the emblem. Then use goo-gone or goof-off to clean up the residue.

I had a 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix LJ Diesel 5.7 and I easily removed the many emblems with a hair dryer and fishing line. BUT... most of them had tabs on the back and the car's body had holes in it so that all the emblems would be perfectly aligned when istalled at the factory. I had to have a body shop fill the holes and paint the areas. Just be sure that none of the emblems you want to remove will give you the same expensive challenge.

Its best to check with your freindly neighborhood body shop. The Infiniti logo may have the alignment pins. but letters and model sig, are done with adhesive. The nice thing is if you end up hating it.... Talk to the friendly neighborhood body shop to order new ones and put them back on. Most are done with adhesive now a days...According to Givens Collision....they are very friendly.

Nice pic. Did you tint the rear lights through a tint shop or did you find a place that has precut pieces? I would love to do the same with mine. So far I have 5% tint all around and 50% on the windshield. Have you done your headlights too?

I say leave the emblems on - but if you do remove any at least keep the G37 - remove it and most folks will assume it is a G35.

How much did the dealer charge to remove the emblems.

Ahh...now I see. It's hard to tell from the pic without enlarging it. I thought the rear tail lights were tinted.

I can't remove them the back ones. It's too funny to look in the rear view camera and see the evil looking face that's on there. (the reflection of the rear lights on the emblem).

It cracks me up.

Cost me $55 to remove the INFINITI and for me -it was worth it - cause I have never done that before successfully so I was hapy to put in the hands of some dudes who frequently do that stuff.
