Well I like the pignose bumper, but not so much the grill inserts. I've seen a few shaved, but what would be the best way to fill them in? Obviously bondo wouldn't last, and not sure about fiberglass. What do you guys suggest? I was thinking to add the 91+ bumper nissan emblem in as well.

I like it. I guess the best way is fiberglass and a good painter

Personally, i think that looks terrible. leave the nostrils, if anything cut them so they actually have a use.

^ Yea im with Piggy on this. Cut them and leave them open, more air to rad/front mount, if any.

i would personally prefer to leave the Pig Nose alone but to each his own. You could treat the nostrils as if they were a whole in sheet metal. cut two shapes out of a spare bumper or a sheet of plastic that will fit the wholes. instead of welding the seams, use kitty hair fiber glass. sand to smooth, prime, and paint. that should hold pretty good.

What Jared said, but instead of using a fiberglass around the edges of the plastic inserts, use a sandable plastic repair adhesive. It offers strength and it will also allow more flex. I would sand the edges with 80 grit sand paper on both the bumper and the inserts, After this, apply the adhesive to either the insert or the bumper or both. Try not to lift the insert after placing it to avoid air bubbles. Let it dry and then sand it untill level, if it isn't level, a thin coat of fiberglass should suffice. If any minor imperfections are still there, a filler primer should do the job. After the filler primer be sure to seal it so you can avoid the line around the edges of your insert. Hope this helps

This. I cut mine out and I left it open for more air. As time and upgrades went on, my diesel oil cooler sits right in front of them. :bigthumb:
