I was reading a thread on skylineaustralia on shaved injectors. People claim that if you shave the four holes on the bottom of the injector until you get one pintle, the injector will flow about 2.15 times more then the stock injectors. This is only for side feed injectors. The only problem is matching the same flow with the injectors. Has anyone tried this? or know anyone that tried it and it works? Heres the link to the thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.c...49409

You will not get a decently balanced set modding the injectors this way. The only way Id do this is if you had more than one set to "shave" the end off of and send them into a company like Deatschwerks and get them flowed. By doing that, you can probably find enough to make 1 set of balanced injectors.

you will need atleast double the ammount of injectors you currently have to create a set of ballanced injectors, and even then its so variable that its hard to get a complete matching set...ive got a set of 4 600's on my desk but that was out of 12 injectors.

a guy in town does with his KA injectors along with the SR ones but hasen't ran them or properly flow tested them yet. He "claims" that they are ok for they all began at the same flow rating and will increase all the same amount...idk i like to play it safe

This is not exactly what Deatschwerks does with the injectors. They do start with used cores but they are completely cleaned, tested, modified, and flow benched to make sure that you get a matched set. People all over the globe are using their injectors and having great results.

Fuel, is not something to jack around with. Buy a quality matched set of injectors for best results. I will be running some Deatschwerks injectors in my RB soon. I hear they have great customer service.

Yeah I'd be a little scared of doing that.Just buy some FC Series 5 injectors or GT-R ones and a top feed rail. Can't be too expensive.Or if you could find someone selling Z33 upgrade injectors. Those fit right??

Or if your going to spend the $$ hit up deatschworks or RC Engineering.Get exactly the injectors you need plus they come with a warranty and will fit your rail.
