Has anyone installed shave door handle kits in their AC, or can someone suggest a good kit? Also, is there a good write up for installing shaved door kits for Altimas?

Thanks.

I was thinking about installing my self at least, but considering I am living (stationed) in the UK right now, tools and supplies are hard to get here. But... even more harder to get is a shop that can do the work, and its so dam expensive here. One of the things I miss about the states, plenty of good garages to help with the work.

If I do find a shop that can do it, I will ask them If I can help out or at least watch and take pics.

I think I've seen one person that has done this. I dont remember his name but he was the person that posted pics. of his car that everyone made fun of because it looked like a fast and the furious car that I'm sure some people will remember (green paint job with designes with yes... the gas tank filler neck hidden under the tail light lol). It was a while ago. he doesnt really come on I assume because he never posts anymore. I caution you to consider some of the potential safty problems though. for example if you get into an accident how would emergency people open your door without a door handle (main one)? but if you do do it please share with us how you did it :yesnod !

if i get into an accident they will use jaws of life and rip the door off if i cant open it from the inside.

good luck with it! makes the car a little cleaner too lol. but your probably going to have to do a bit of research to find out where to get it and how its done though.

That takes time, in which you could die.

I'm not here to knock the idea, but unless it's a full show car etc. I really do not see the point. It does look cool etc. but practicality is almost non-existant. It certainly can be a safty issue.

I doubt this post will change your mind, but personally IMO i would just leave the handles alone.

If there's no money to be made from showcasing / promoting this mod, don't do it. It's a hassle
