Let's share our July 4 plans. Anyone go all out on fireworks, etc.?

It has been dry here in florida so the public shows will be few and far between unless they get shot out over water/the coast.

As soon as I wrap it up here in the office i am heading to the beach for a restful week of vacation. They normally have a great fireworks display at the marina with tons of beer :mike and other goodies.

no doubt my @ss will be in the sand and i will annihilate some beer.

This. With James, Heavy, and hopefully Dan & Sean teaming up to crush the keg for my birthday.

well happy bday. I have a client who a a Sheriff's Deputy in the county that i live and he always goes around telling not to "celebrate the 4th with a fifth."

I am going to hate to disappoint him.

I thought about getting a keg out on the beach but someone stole my beack wagon and im going with a buncha of girls so theres no way ill get any help carrying it. we have been getting consistent afternoon showers too so im not lugging that thing every day.

i'll take my beach trips one case of beer at a time.

Nope, heavy metal and a rum and coke.

Just added some links. Republican hopeful Jon Huntsman just donated $4.1 million to himself.

heavy metal...rum...coke...very chill, nothing crazy.

it has a whole new meaning when you saw rum and coke as if they are not together.

^ What kind of "work"? Drinking "work", or violent explosive bombs "work"

I hope to be doing both. Usually we go to PA and get the good ish but not this year. Dont really have plans yet but hope to atleast get partially drunk with some peeps.

"Working" will either be driving people around, or surfing the internet out of boredom.

Cookout, pool party and as Tyler said: sparklers. There are several professional displays around the Valley but Greg doesn't like the crowds and neither do Dar and Saraya. I would have loved to have gone up to Prescott, especially considering the temperature difference but, same deal.

Arizona has a weird law on Fireworks. You can buy them, but you can't shoot them off. The only thing you are allowed to actually light is a sparkler. That's OK though, considering the alternative. That's better than a bunch of drunk dumbasses setting the desert behind our house on fire.

alcohol, explosives, and stupid people do not mix.

Its f'd up because on Fort Belvior army base even sparklers are illegal! And now, only military members can get on base to see the pro fireworks. Atleast I can see half of them from my house and if they go high enough over the tree line.. 100% ghey.

Cops outside of that are pretty cool. They just cruise and look for people getting out of control.

There are fireworks now at the new National Harbor across the bridge in PG... You can see them all the way up and down the waterfront.
