Hi, I'm in the forum for 1+ year but never shared yet. Little illustrated story

Bought this 2005 cpe M6 last summer:

Then winter came, I needed serious winter tyres. So I installed Pirelli Sottozero, the only one I found with matching sizes (17"). They were better than expected. Car is dirty like it should in winter

During winter, summer set had been stolen (They were in the shed, my bad...). So I decided to change for less expensive but still my taste:

Wheels are Gram lights 18 X 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Tyres are Pirelli Pzero, the new one. 245 front, 265 rear. Grip is really impressive. The satin finish is hard to see in the pic, I'll try to take better one.

Comments are welcome. I know I should drop, and I know I won't...

Okay, i'll do so!

Handling is better than I expected on dry or rainy. I would like to measure with a G-tech in the curves.

I didn'nt tried braking hard yet.

I love the Grams. Those are really sick wheels, and probably the first time someone has put on wheels that are " my style". I am not one for heavy or chrome wheels. I like it simple and lightweight. Those are awesome!

Thanks, I tought nobody would like them since I never saw them anywhere.

Is 23 lbs lightweight? I think so but not sure.

I had a hard time trying to find something no chrome, no black, quality (think so?), a bit racy but not too much... and that fits the car. I like also OZ Ultraleggera, someone have them?

The factory 19s are 19 and 21lbs if my sources are correct.

So your 23lb rims are a little heavier and are 18s. I'm a little surprised that the gram lights aren't lighter.

At 5 900$CDN for stock wheels, compared to 2 700$CDN I paid for those, it's OK for me.
