Going to have to check them out. Thanks for the info.

Do we have any owners in or around Seattle that would be able to test fit for some long tubes? I'm wondering if I should start a new thread about it.

That Impul kit is 20 grand by the way and req you to give up your motor as in a core exchange. If you have money to blow on cf hood n trunk id say invest in N2O instead and a tune. For a MD Tuner look up Hills Garage and see if you can talk to Frank, he's booked all the time so you'd want to make an appt asap. Also you can throw in the VLSD FROM A g37s if you can find one from a slavge yard or you can buy new. You just need the the halfshafts, pupkin, gears and its a direct bolt on. That'll raise ur gears from 3.39 to 3.69 and the added benifit of LSD vs open diff.

hey i live in VA, and about that custom exhaust, how much was it to get everything installed? can you feel a big difference? and DAMN your car is sick. no h0m0

What part of VA? I paid 900 for mandrel bent tubing 2.5" ss starting from the secondary cats that were deleted. All I have is a magnaflow x pipe/muffler so if you wanted mufflers and resonators it would be like 400 more depending on what type/brand you get. I did feel a gain once it was put in and it helped once I got it tuned with UpRev. The ex was installed at Mandrel Bend Solutions in Pasadena, MD just incase you wanted to know. Thanks for the compliment by the way.

Mexillis, did you dyno your setup? I'm about to get another setup made and I'm going to try to get a before and after.

Also, do the Y50s have a 4" intake like the Y34s?

Yeah I got it tuned on a dyno dynamics dyno. As for the oem intake couldn't tell you the exact measurement but 4" diameter sounds about right.

Awesome! I'm still trying to work with UpRev to see if they can tune mine.

I've been reading through this thread trying to get an idea of what works the best and what is most cost effective in terms of net horsepower gain. What I've taken from the rest of you is that headers for an M35 are tricky and probably not worth the cost for the gain I would achieve. I plan on going with a Motordyne Iso-thermal plenum spacer and ART pipes, along with Osiris UpRev. I am hoping to bump hp over 300 on my M35. I'm open to any tried and proven suggestions that any of you may have to get more HP without going into thousands of dollars. I've pretty much ruled out forced induction because of cost. Many of you have debunked cold air induction as a waste of money on this forum so I'm passing on that as well. I have read the debate concerning K&N filters and again have decided to pass as there is no real consensus on gains.

What I would like to know about are Y-pipes, mufflers, any transmission upgrades, and any cost-efficient bolt ons you have personally tried and can attest to.
