Shaky problems

My Altima shakes when I come to a stop light. As soon as I put it in Neutral it stops shaking. This only happens when I apply the brake on Drive. Could it be the engine supports or motor mounts? Don't know the exact term.

whole car shakes? or a vibration sound like a loose heat shield? I had a vibrating sound in my pathfinder and it was the same as yours. it happened when i had my foot on the break and went away in neutral. in my case it was the heat shield on the exhaust the bracket has rusted and i put on a clamp to make it stop. Since your car is not that old, possibly you could have nicked one on a speed bump or pot hole and now it's vibrating. If it's the whole car.... then i'm not sure.

Well maybe but mine doesn't do it every time I stop. It does sometimes. Was yours the same?

I think time to change your front disc and pad

Mine did not do it every time i stopped either, that's why it was tricky to get it to happen while someone else was driving so that i can pop under there to see what was shaking and what it was hitting.
