Hey guys, I'm going to be trying to get rid of my shaky idle, and hard starting. I know its something electrical, so I'm going to start by making my own grounds. I've helped a friend a long time ago, but I've got a few questions:

-I'm going to be swapping out the stock grounding cables, but where else would be some ideal places?

-Any other ideas for getting rid of my problem (I'm checking my spark plugs)

-How do you test a distributor or ignitor? I suspect it'd be one of those things.

Thanks guys.

what i did to increase my grounding is follow my upper harness where it grounds to the block or head and run another wire directly froma grounding block i made from a homedepot electrical aluminum conector...i have like 5 grounds running from it to where ever the harness grounds too..and i ran a wire allthe way back to my battery behinde my passenger seat...hope this gives ya some idea's

sounds like bad charging system. Check battery and alternator. You can do that at any autozone, advance auto etc... It's free as well. I'd start there before i jump on making more gounds. nissan only makes one huge ground from the block to the chasis and one for the battery to the chasis.

Just back in from trying something this morning, I pulled the plugs out while the engine was running.

Whenever I pulled #1 or #4 the car would INSTANTLY die.

But when I pulled #2 or #3 nothing changed, so my guess is the 2 and 3 cylinder aren't firing.

So its time to check those to for fuel, spark, and air right?

Thanks for the link, I've used that pretty religiously for the past couple months, hahaha.

My number 2 and 3 injectors are bad, I used a flat-head screwdriver to listen to them while the engine was running...and nothing. So I'm ordering 2 new ones when I acquire the money (and then I'll replace the other new when I can)

I'll post up again when I get them.

-As a sidenote, I find it weird that both our injectors were bad, lol.
