hey guys,

have a quick question, when im driving and i come to a stop light the car starts shaking, if i put it in neutral, the shake is still there but not as severe as it is in drive, i first suspected the motor mounts but then thought it could be injectors, does anyone have any experience in this? also i kept getting the tail lamp inoperative message and as per reccomendation, i changed most of my bulbs with the long life bulbs, the message went away for like a week and now its back and one more question, how do i get rid of the brake pads worn message?

Are all cylinder's firing okay? What is the idling RPM? Could also be bad MAF. Try wiggling the connector on the MAF.

For tail lamps, are all the lamps actually working? Have you had someone stand behind and observe? Sometimes the bulb sockets are worn or have a crack. Did you change the bulb in the third light in the rear deck? Use dielectric grease on all... available at any auto parts center. I have a set of like-new 95' bulb sockets if you end up needing... they are just below the instrument cluster in this pic. I'll apply dielectric grease before shipping if you are interested.

For brake warning issue, you can cut the wires going to the sensor (on the pads) and short them together. These are only on one side of the car. (I forget which).

Sounds like a couple of bad injectors. What are the Ohm readings?

I agree on the injector guess. I would describe a dead miss (typically from a bad injector) as almost a "bouncing" feeling at idle.

I know it is a different generation car but sounds like the same problems.

Yea just had this start today after some rough rodes and alot of dust - the air filter needs to be replaced after this journey

I know the KS need replacement but thats been a long time coming. Mine is (yet another sound) a loud sound, like when some idiot kids drive by with the subs blasting away and you hear his license plate rattle, I get only the slightest vibration, always happens at a light at less then 5mph, checked to make sure the tire (sounded like right rear to me) wasn't rubbing on derbies or something like that (then realized I was going 0 so the tire wouldn't be moving )

How possible is it for somebody with no knowledge of cars to replace the KS or injectors? I have a tool set and time... and probably the money (cost ideas?, I know to use Joe, have to place another order anyways)

sorry for jumping in but it seems its starting to plague alot of Q owners

the ohm readings on the injectors are not good, but how i can be sure thats the problem that is causing the shaking? if that is the problem, would it shake more in drive than in neutral or park, will a consult reading tell me what the problem is? where can i get the consult software and cable from, anywhere local?
