shaking please help

my car seems to be shaking badly around the driveline/rear. it just started today. it seems like the driveshaft is shaking or something to that degree. its worrying me. if u have had this problem or may know what the problem is please post comments

What's the most recent work you've done back there? Could be a number of things from loose nuts/bolts, broke your transmission mount, bad alignment...

yeah, you need to just do a general inspection of the driveline and rear wheels/tires beginning with anything you have recently worked on

yeah i havent done any work back there almost a year ago though i had the transmission rebuilt. they gave me a 2 year warranty so im gonna take it down there monday but im about to drive 50 miles in a minute to my house from the town im in and im nervous as hell

Maybe bad carrier bearing? If the shaking increses in modulation with acceleration it is definately driveline. You should pinpoint this immediately, driveshaft failure tends to make you drive very interesting.

well i come home and call my friend over....its 1 by the time we start working on it. we jack the car up and look at everything and here is the verdict....my transmission mount is as broke as a bad joke (yeah that sounded gay sorry) so thats an easy fix after the trip to the auto store tomorrow but i also discovered that both my halfshafts are slightly bent and i also have a bent wheel.....oh how that sucks but its good to know

i ran it really hard when i first got it and i had to run from the blue on some bad roads. i cleaned the halfshafts this morning and they arent bent after all. it was just the mud but at 1 last night i couldnt tell when i made the post. but the rest of the parts will be in tuesday so im good to go
