i have a fb automatic 91... redline 7 rpm...

idles around 300 to 1300 rpm and it would shake really bad... and then the car would shake with it... but if you gas it up... the whole thing stop shaking... if you put one of your palm flat infront of you and lift the left side of the palm and then the right and that's how it was shaking when i'm in the driver seat....

got ngk irigiums... new, obx-r wires 10.3 mm, new distributor cap and rotor, change oil every 3,000 mi, injector cleanors many times (every oil change).

so help out if you can.

The shaking could be caused by a number of things: Dryrotted/disconnected vaccum hoses, dirty MAF, Bad o2 sensor, etc...

The reason it moves so much is because the stock mounts sucked when they were new and suck even more when they are well worn.

try unplugging your maf and seeing how it idles. if unplugging it causes it to idle better its probably bad... I was having similar problems with my motor...

if it helps... it felt like my engine is misfiring too and sometimes when driving, while it shifted from L to 2 there would be like a 3 second delay before it switches to 2 and then 2 to 3 it would be 2 sec delay.... and the rest are okay.

check your plugs, then wiggle your injector connectors while its idling see if it effects the idle. check your coolant temp connector[2 wire one] see if its corroded, clean it if it is.

okay... i tried every thing coolant temps, injector wires... and spark plug wires.... i tried taking out one wire at a time while the was on and i figured out that my first cyclinder wasnt even running... so i grabbed an other spark plug, plugged it in my first wire and turn on the motor and i put it near the a metal and it sparked... so there's nothing wrong with my ignition... so what are possible things what might be wrong and can i fix it my self or do i have to take it to someone who i think knows what they are doing?

Did it do this before your-

ngk irigiums... new, obx-r wires 10.3 mm, new distributor cap and rotor

if no. theni say there is a installation problem. check wires make sure there on in the right location and order. as well as pushed on enought o make good contact to the plugs.

i dont think that is the problem although come to think of it... the motor starts shaking ever since i put on the 300zx fuel filter. but i doubt would cause that much of a problem.

you can buy a gapping tool at any autoparts store. THey will show you how to do use it, its kinda hard to describe how to do this. Its very simple, all you need to know is the correct gap for the plugs and car you are using. I'm just wondering if this could be your problem. It could also be a stuck/leaky injector.

okay... i've already done the seafoam thingy since jan. already... like 1/4 can on throttle body, 1/4 on the cylinders (in the sparkplugs thingy), and then the rest are on the valve springs, cams and what ever is behind the valve cover. but i'm just wondering... seafoam is expensive, like $6 for one in my area, so isnt there like another generic brand that'll work too... how bout carb chokes or brake cleaners??? wouldnt those work?
