Well..my 90 240sx is shaking when its idle. plus when it is at idle the rpm's is at like 100-300 which is really low. and today when i stopped at a red light the car shook alot and rpms at 100 and then it died on me. The battery light is on in my dash so i probably need a new alternator cuz the belts were fine when i checked. If i changed the oil, new alternator, and maybe battery and spark plugs..should this solve my problem?

definately wouldn't hurt a bit. might as well do an entire tune up.

low idle because of alternator? doubtful....my alt went out and the car was idling high as it was dying.....mine used to do similar things because it was (and still is :-\) running rich.......get a fuel pressure reading and see if that's nominal. I replaced my FPR, O2 Sensor, and plugs and it did wonders for awhile......prolly cost ya $150, but couldn't hurt anything but ur wallet :-P
