shake shake shake

So i just took delivery of an 89 s13 hatch. got it for like 800 so i expecdted some problems. owner said it needed break lines and an ehaust. i stepped on the break and it went to the floor and the exhaust fell apart when i whent to go check it out lol. any ways i got it home and blead the breaks and i have break peddal now. but when i start the car the motor skakes from side to side verry wildly. and its not just the normal shake from the engine but it travels about an inch and a half each way. so i ask what could be causing this? i tried to move the engine by hand using my body to try to replicate the side to side movement but there seems to be no play in it. one of my friends told me its a motor mount or the trans mount...??? well hope some one has any ideas thanks

I would guess a timing/misfire issue. Try disconnecting one spark plug at a time and seeing if anything changes.
