just curious to see how many of you guys are using the shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft for the rb25det. the price looks good but wondering how they fit and how they hold up. thanks.

Don't buy anything but the shaftmasters shaft.

Here is a review I made for them. product-review-for-shaftmaster-nicoclub ... 48030.html

yeah i've been reading some reviews. actually came across an older thread while trying to find information on which yoke to use on a custom driveshaft. think i'm gonna go ahead and order one of these.

For $355?! I had mine made by a local driveshaft shop that does stock car and off-road driveshafts for $200+tax. You can surely find a better deal locally.

Local shop will only make steel for 250-300. Shaftmasters come with beefy, serviceable u-joints n it's aluminum for cheaper than the competitors by $150+. I wish my local shop could do that....

im on my second shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, first one was on a stock ka24de and didnt give me a single problem during the 2 years i daily drove it. Right now im on my second one on my s14 rb25, aluminum also but i've only been daily driving it for 2 months so we'll see how it goes but i trust it, their shlt looks legit. Here's some actual pictures of my driveshaft before install:

nope, never gave me a single problem, they have both been with stock clutches to, not sure if that matters, aluminum subframe bushings on the ka.

That's good to hear. I guess we'll see how it goes with my setup. Either way it's a great deal on an aluminum shaft.

Though i have not run them yet i have owned both a Driveshaft Shop Steel and a Shaftmasters aluminum version. Both appear to be quality components. I have never heard anyone having problems with either companies.
