how bad are we talking here? from what I remember reading before the H2 gets 13mpg you should be geting 22-27mph with your 240. maybe a little lower due to age.

When was the last time you checked or replaced your fuel filter? Checked for leakey o-rings? Dirty Air Filter? hows the maintenance record on your 240?

I get 28mpg half city, half highway. I have an intake, Hi-Flow Cat, NGK plugs + Wires, Elect. fan, 300zxTT fuel filter and that's it.

When I got the car I was getting 19mpg. After I replaced the 02 sensor I was up to 22. After the NGK's, coil, cap, rotor and fuel filter I was up to 23, after the elect. fan I was up to 25, after the intake and hi-flow cat I am now up to 28mpg.

CTS, MAF, 02, plugs + wires + cap + rotor + coil, dirty air filter, pluged cat/exhaust, and vacumn leak are common problems that cause bad gas mileage.

Are your smog components still there, like the EGR?

Do you mean the EGR valve is just sitting on the intake manifold with nothing connected to it? That will cause a vacuum leak, assuming you still have the vacuum lines connected to the valve.

worst i have ever gotten was 24mpg (93 240), thats all city driving, with a few bolt ons. i would say there is more to it than you just getting on the gas.

as for injectors, i have never had a bad one, but it is something i imagine you would feel (like a miss?)

i used to work at an emission testing place and learned to feel when a car was miss firing, always failed too
