I had my dealer do it when I had it in for servicing - they didn't charge any extra.

Its actually a M82A1M, the unit I was with was testing a number of weapons, and this happened to be one of them. One of my team members liked to call it the AT&T because with it, he could reach out and touch someone...

now that has got to be a fun ride? Maybe I should be considering using that engine in my next kit car?

for sure it is a fun ride, but a pricey motor. it's built to spin to 9krpm all day and all night; it's my w2w/TT road race car. it might actually go back to NA with the harrop 8x58mm ITBs, with which it already made 740whp on 93 pump gas. granted, the cam doesn't come alive until 5krpm, but that's not a big issue on the track.

for the power i'm making now, you can easily and reliably build an LS2 to the same level, for far less coin. all the extra money went into making my motor reliable at 9krpm.

what kind of work do you have done to your IS300?

procharged 454?! nice, very nice. you should post some pics of that motor. my father and I are restoring my (used to be his) 73 roadrunner. factory it has a 400 w/just a 4 barrel carb. that motor is completely done and set aside for now, being preserved. the motor im going to build is a 440 and charge it. hopefully buying the block next week, gunna do all forged internals, havent decided on heads yet, doing roller rockers and roller lifters, all ARP bolts. oh ya havin it bored 40 over, and maybe stroked, not sure on that either, dual quads stickin right out of the hood, i want to put 20 lbs of boost to it. my goal is a 4000lb mopar thats gunna run mid to low 10's, and i WILL do it. haha no pics yet tho, my dads doing all the pictures nd such as we progress with it, nothings being released until were done, gay i think but its what he wants.

currently, I shipped my IS300 here to Japan to do some fine tunning. Its got a VVti 2JZ-GTE engine, the stock twins I replaced with a single Titanium IHI ball bearing turbo from a Toyota Indy car, back when they used turbos. The manifolds, exhaust, F-8 piston/R-6 piston brake calipers, hats, valve train, and a few other parts are all Titanium. lots of carbon fiber all over the place in the engine bay, and underneith. 6-speed transmission from a supra, AEM stand alone, ARC front mount intercooler, Zeal adjustable suspension w/ reserviors, and all kinds of other nonsense.

a supra in disguise is a Lexus SC300 with a 2JZ swap. The IS300 with the engine swap is more of a what if the Supra and GS300 hooked up one night after a dozen long island ice teas!

Supra says: Awww god! what times is itGS300 says: IDK, but the sun is out.. by the way I don't remember youSupra says: OMG we didnt just...did weGS300 says: yeah I think we did, and I think I wanna keep it!Supra says: fine, I just hope its not as big as you so it can still run like me!!
