What you described is pretty much what was in my extended warranty for my Acura.

I'm comfortable doing most of my own repair works, but I agree with you that the main reason for me to buy the Elite Warranty is to cover the electronics that are usually not repairable.

Hello,The Elite warranty specifically covers the Nav/Audio system. It is discussed in the Elite Warranty brochure. As opposed to the Infiniti CPO warranty which does not cover Nav/Audio at the conclusion of the original factory warranty. Also, my Elite Warranty has a zero deductible as I thought all Elite Warranty's were.

I have more than gotten my money's worth with the Elite Warranty. Much of it I would not have had done if paying out of pocket. Examples include new steering wheel, new shift knob, and new Homelink Rear View Mirror. However, just last week I needed the driver side power seat motor replaced which would have cost a fortune. Also, having a great relationship with your Service Advisor can make for sure that having the Elite Warranty is worthwhile. Also, the Elite Warranty is fully transferable to a new owner which is a huge selling point.Cheers,ML

Well, I've just entered the no warranty zone. Electronics that some are so worried about have no moving parts, therefore rarely fail. Infiniti builds their machines to last. An extended warranty in my view can be better served (for peace of mind) by my normal dose of Prozac-and it's cheaper over the long run. Plus if something big does go wrong, Kirkland Infiniti will have all kinds of hot chocolate chip cookies to sooth my savage breast.

Here I go-naked through the next 100,000 miles..!!!
