looool. that reminds me of a retarded internet game my sister used to take my computer hostage to play. yall better watch out before y'all get bitten (name of SJP's clothing line). too bad the new age, or better yet "new moon" vampires don't bite. they simple run in the sunlight to get their sparkle on.

Girls like SJP because they think she's a pony.

She really isn't that bad. From some angles, she's not a butta face. But I always thought women liked SJP mostly because of her Carrie Bradshaw character in the Sex and the City show/movies. And that character is why most guys dislike her. Her character on that show was obnoxious and the least attractive of the four.

My wife introduced that show to me when it was first on HBO, and the only likeable character I saw on that show was Samantha, who got nekkid just about every show ;) .

The entertainment industry REALLY wants us, to believe, for some reason, that Sarah Jessica Parker is attractive. Sorry, no. I'd rather bang a piece of drywall.

Kardashian is still eminently tappable without makeup.

Kimora Simmons is f**kinng horrid in BOTH pictures, and she's an awful harpes. Makeup or no, I'd set her on fire.

SJP is indeed a beast, but Kristin Davis started out super hot and is still quite solid for being 45. I still won't see this movie, but I uphold that the show was pretty decent, given the subject matter.

On a semi-related note, my friend Marc and I used to watch this occasionally with his mom (who was a stone cold fox when she was in her 20s, as pictures attest). When Samantha was getting naked pictures of herself, she remarked that "a lot of women got this done so that later on they'd be able to remember what they looked like when they were young".

I took this to mean that SHE got this done, which is awesome, so remind me to rummage through his house.

LOL, I didn't ask.

It's not like this is obscure shxt anyway, two of the chicks I mentioned were in the picture post on the first page and the other is a main character in the movie referenced in the thread title.

This is pop culture 101, which you're certainly entitled (and IMO encouraged) to be ignorant of, but if you are, why are you in this thread in the first place?

LOL, fair enough.

FWIW, I only care when they're hot chicks, but I absorb a lot of other related knowledge of dubious value from my wife.

Those are the self-aggrandizing parts of pop culture, the s*** parts that signal societal decline.

There's a fun part; it involves Journey songs, lolcats, and Back To The Future.

If Kim Kardashian's A55 signifies societal decline, than BURN ROME BURN.

I am, however, a rabid Journey fan.

The recent change in pop culture revolves around fame that isn't based on any talent or ability. Athletes, vocalists, musicians, artists, filmmakers, actors -- they all have something to offer.
