There are two Pick Your Parts in my area about two miles apart, I guess so they can make you pay the $2.00 entry fee twice to see the whole inventory. I counted seven J30s between the two, including three J30Ts, and not a single one still had the original wheels on them. I was looking for a forged wheel like what was original equipment on the J30ts to replace one my daughter damaged riding over some object on the freeway. If they had one I could have got it for $29 plus a $5 core charge. They almost all had engines in them, but the door latch actuators were all missing.
BTW, can anyone give the exact location of the door lock timer, and what does it look like?
I did make one good score. I found a 1993 J30 service manual in the trunk of one of the cars. I always wanted one as the one that is supposed to come with the car was missing from mine, I only had the owner's manual.
If anyone is in the Orange County, California area and has a forged J30T wheel they want to sell let me know.
