i am wondering what setup everyone has to get into whatever times.i m finally getting closer to getting the swap done but there are so many options it's hard to decide! i have been saving up a good bit cuz i know its gonna be expensive no matter what route i go. so far its:

sr red tophaltech ( not anymore cuz imma go piggyback)bigger turbo (s15 maybe)bigger fuel injector's( either 555 or Nismo 740cc injectors )stage 2 or 3 clutch, dual elec fanskoyo radiator ( copper or aluminum???)piggy back system ( cant decide on which one to go with yet, any suggestions?)type s greddy bovdown pipetest pipefidanza flywheelWalbro 255 lt/hr High Flow Fuel Pumpelectronic boost controllerintake manifldGReddy Intercooler Kit V-Spec CoreGReddy Pulley SetHKS Actuator Kit

well i have to go to class now, so yeah let me know if i am heading in the right direction.

added it up tp around 7800 without labor...

and i just saw that aem has the AEM PROGRAMMABLE EMS: 240SX 89-94 (W/ SR20DET ENGINE)anyone used it yet.

well help me out ppl thanxpeace

o btw originally it would have been 5000 for engine, trans, haltech, intercooler, install, bov, and yeah thats whow much that would have been.

i will check it when i get homw from school.

hm how old are you?

cuz you say haltech like normal people just put those in when they need to alter fuel maps...

maybe it's just me but the only time i've ever seen a haltech engine management system in person was in a lexus...the team lexus is3000 scca grand-am cup car...

wow can you say late reply???!? yea the shop that i am getting the enigine work done is psi in louisiana, they have put a haltec system in an sr powered 240. they talked me into it, but then i asked my friend and he said it wasn't necassary(sp?) so thats why i decided on a piggyback system. besides i can spend the money on other mods!

$8000 is a ton of money for a 300rwhp setup. your could have a ka rebuilt with forged pistons ( zero miles compared to an SR's 50k miles or so) plus a nicely setup turbo kit.
