I am about to lose it. Been trying to use the search function and keep getting "No results".

My frustration may be amplified by the subject. I bought an 03 350z and LOVED it except.......front tire wear. Took it to the only dealership in town and they kept blaming the brakes.

I felt sure this would have been fixed on a freakin 06! I need to figure out exactly what to do before buying a new set of tires for my 06 G35 coupe with sport suspension.

Do I need to buy aftermarket parts to allow for enough adjustment so that I don't need to buy new fronts every 10K miles? Can I get EXACT specs that people have run and had good luck?

thanks for the help.

Buy decent tire and rotate every 5k miles.

I got 20k out of my last set and I run massive negative camber due to dropping the car. (they were 20k tires 220 tread wear)

My next set will have 380 tread wear so I should get 30 - 40k out of them (I hope)

BTW to answer you question..

You can buy the adjustable arms for the rear for about $70

the fronts will run you $300 - 500

then another $80 or so for a proper alignment.

Thanks Kenrik. When installing these should I just ask the shop to reduce the camber? AT what point will reducing the camber REALLY affect the car's handling?

thanks

I'm also thinking about Stance GR+ coilovers which have adjustable camber uppermounts. I would hope that I would not need to spend an additional $500 for adjustable front arms.

Not that I have that kind of money to throw at the problem BUT I have ordered an FI exhaust system that is about 3 weeks late so thinking of getting the coilovers instead from the same vendor.
