I was wondering im getting ready to drive my car as soon as i fix a couple boost leaks and so far i have everything set except for the gear baised judge. To set it i know im supposed to drive in that gear but do i select the gear first and then drive up to that gear and then stop and then do the same for the other gears,or do i get someone in the car with and when i change gears they select a diffrent gear while im driving.thanks in advance

i suppose you set your max boost (if i remember, in bar value), then set the "start duty" for each gears, 1st 5%, 2nd 3% and 3rd 1% and 4th and 5th gear I left at 0%. maybe give that a shot before going for a drive.

the feature im talking about is the intial setup were you have to put the numbers in so the boost controller will even reconize gears.if any body else here has one of these boost controoler and ca tell me the settings for an rb25det it would be greatly apprciated.

as far a BoostFed i know what your talking about as far as setting a difffrent boost/duty cycle per gear.I just turned that setting off b/c i didnt want to get to complicated.thanks any ways.

the way gear based boost works it that it monitors SPEED and RPM to determine the gear, i think u need to set it to the *** and thats learning mode avcr is an awesome device !!! but i couldnt use gear based boost since i didnt wire it into the ECU so i could hit max speed without fuel cut
