Setting timing with the battery in the trunk.

Im wanting to move the battery to the trunk on my vert, but i was thinking, when i need to set the timng on my RB how would i be able to that with the battery in the trunk?

Is there any were else i can pull power and a ground from besides the battery?

use a battery charger or pull up another car along side and use its battery

or make the cables longer

Your chassis is ground, and there is a whole harness of +12V under the hood. You can even steal it from a headlamp, but your altenator is on you motor so why not just use that?

I never thought abotu the alternator.lol well atleast i know now.

Were would i need to hook it up at at the alternator?

where the only larger wire connection is, its usually surrounded by insulation and connects right to the battery and main fuse box. It should have two wires bolted to a stud.
