Take off the top cover, set your engine to TDC and you will then see if your engine is off a tooth or so. And if I read correctly, your crank angle sensor being fully clocked to the right is excessively retarding your timing. That's assuming I'm standing in front of your engine and I've turned your CAS to the right.XTCshri2222 wrote:I recently did timing on my CA, but i'm not 100% sure I did it right and its bugging me, lol.
I got the light hooked up etc.. and there are if I remember right 5 marks on the crank, now when I hooked up the timing light I could only clearly see one mark which looked white, so i lined the needle up to that mark. But now my cam sensor is almost fully clocked to the right, and I'm not sure if it's right I was unable to get numerical read off the crank, the car runs much smoother, but i'm confused if it is over advanced or just that my timing belt might be off by one tooth?
