I'm going to borrow a timing light and set the timing on my 95 KA24DE, i believe it should be 20 degrees, is that correct? Then which of the marks is the 20 degree mark?

Thanks in Advance

If you are facing the engine it is the last mark on the right for the ka24de. That is 20 degrees btdc.

Be sure to follow the proper procedure. The FSM will make it easy. As will a Chiltons, since they did a copy/paste right from the FSM.

Make sure you unplug the tps first.

also make sure your motor is 1. warmed up, 2. after the warm up, adjust your idle to ~700 rpm with tps off.
