What settings are you having trouble with? Just the A/F mixture? Or RPM points?

Have you set your high and low throttle positions? Also, have you set your RPM points yet?

You have to have a general understanding of A/F ratios, and the car running rich/lean first. You can't really give a step by step procedure, as it's different on every car. You simply have to play around with the settings until the car is running right, preferebly on a dyno. But the street works too.
