setting the ignition timing...

ok guys... i was ****ing around with my distributor and now the timing is all messed up.

When i turn the key the car winds up but doesnt get to start. You guyz know a way to fix this?

ya dude...my friend F'ed his up and had to have it towed to a dealership to get it fixed....this could really mess up your motor, I would have someone that knows what they are doing fix it. Or if you have a manual (I cant find one) it should say how to set everything up.

I just got me a manual and it says to use a timing light... Im gonna go ahead and get one tomorrow morning.

i got the timing kit from courtesyparts and installed it, this just happened to be a by-product...

but... in order for me to use the timing light the car has to be able to run but mine doesnt. I turn the key, it winds up but doesnt start. Could bad ignition timing keep a car from starting?
