I have always "understood" that this (see title) could be seriously detrimental to the transmission, and thought I read it here too (in a post by Dennis). But the SEARCH is not showing it to me. Is there an earlier post that I can read on it?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Is the topic title true?

And, of course, if so, why?

Don't know of any problem with using neutral other than speed control and excess usage of brakes. The AT pump works as long as the the TC is spinning.
