What kind of set-ups are applicable when the smog is a factor? Is there a chance that you could build a ka24de that could reach 9000 rpms and still pass smog? is that even possible?

Due to the long stroke and only partially counterweighted crankshaft, you'd be lucky to see a KA go over 7500rpms without destroying itself.

Personally, just ask around and find a smogger you can pay off, then do whatever you want to your car.
