I was wondering if you can tell me if this is right. I have two hoses connected to a breather filter. What should I do?

I wouldnt have it setup like that for pressure purposes. The air has nowhere to vent.

The valve cover on the exhaust side (the left, or driver's side) should be connected to the intake pipe right before the air filter (see pic below)



This was a quick pic I googled. Notice the yellow rice hose on the intake piping? If you follow that back, it'll go into the valve cover which in most cases will be gaurded by the mean PCV valve *ROAR*. heh (damn it's late!)

The intake valve cover nipple should be vented out into the intake. View CA19DET's pic below:



And yes, I would invest in an oil catch can. I picked one up second hand locally for $50(canadian) and it was never even installed, lol.

where did you get that oil catch can from? I brought one but it was the wrong one.I see what your saying but the hose on the passenger side goes connected to where? the pcv valve?

There should be an open pipe on the end cap of the intake manifold(facing firewall) that the breather hose on the passenger side hooks too.

is that pipe the pcv valve. I would appreciate if anyone can post pics for their set up with and without oil catch can. the shop that did the swap ****ed me over totally. what comes out of the other side that goes connected to the intake

That is stock, so yes, that works. I assume that the tube goes to the intake?

yup. I connected it to the intake.
