When doing a major suspension overhaul (coilovers, control arms, tension rods, bushing, sway bars, tie rods, etc etc) is it necessary to go back and re-torque everything after a few drives? Or do you just . . .

Yes, it's recomended. I did that to mine.

So I guess "set it and forget it" only applies to cooking chicken. LOL

btw, the fsm also has torque specs...
