please bare with htis long story..i really need the help i only have my 240 as a transportation.....here we go...the other day my car was kinda like wanting to stall when i was doing 70 in the freeway...then i sloewd down to park and before i parked it died....that evening i checked the distributor cap as suggested by my mechanic, the cap turned out looking clean n normal, so i moved on..i then recalled that i had to change my fuel filter 6000 miles ago...i changed it n test drove the car for about 5 miles everything was great..the next morning i drove about 3 miles n then the servive engine soon light lit..i was just wondering why did it lit up, did i forget something.what can i do?

Why not do a test. Go to http://www.240sx.org and look for how to pull codes from the ECU. It'll tell you exactly whats wrong.
