I just purchased a 1999 Infinity QX4 and have been looking for a repair manual. Some one mention that a pathfinder and the Infinity are basicaly the same vehicle. Is this true? Can I use some of the pathfinder manual. Automotive store do not have one for Infinitys. The air conditioner does not go on and I wanted to check what might be the problem. Could it be a fusable link? Thank you for any help

If I recall accurately, the major differences between the Pathfinder and QX4 are the interior quality, luxury features, and most importantly (one of the truck's biggest selling points)... the more advanced all wheel drive system on the QX.

I believe the QX4 came with automatic climate control that was only available on higher trim levels of the Pathfinder.

Didn't the QX have full time AWD?
