Anyone know where to get a service manual for a 1996 J30t? How much would it cost? I think my dad had called Joe at Scottsdale and he said it was $170 for the manual and thats a bit expensive for my dad.

seems to me that 96 and up (at least Q's) were avail. for download via PDF (for free) directly from the Infiniti website.

Give that a check.

Where on the Infiniti website would it be? I tried looking there but couldn't find anything, not even the Q service manual.

What you could download from the Infiniti-techinfo.com website is the OWNER MANUAL, not the SERVICE MANUAL. Try to look on eBay for the factory service manual. Sometimes you can find a very good deal.
