So i noticed my inspection and Reg expires on 3/11 and what do you know a service engine light comes up. I took the Pathfinder to Autozone since they read the codes for free and i have TWO CODES. One for MY KNOCK SENSOR and another for MY O2 sensor (IDK which one) How much will it cost approx for the Knock sensor to be replaced. MY DEALER wont touch my engine because it has over 100k and my damn gas milege has been F**k'd TWO DAYS and im sitting on Half

Can you give us the exact codes (e.g. P0325)?

Your worsened gas mileage is probably caused by the potentially bad O2 sensor telling the ECU to run rich.

You will require this part if replacing your O2 sensor, and this knock sensor.

Before replacing parts, though, I would try clearing your ECU by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for several hours to see whether the codes return, as well as try reconnecting the wiring harnesses to both sensors and verifying the condition of the wiring to begin with.
