Alright everyone, I am newbie here.

I first want to say thanks to everyone for all the great info they post. Also a lot of great looking cars.

With everyone's recommendation I have ordered the z tube. I just got it in yesterday and will probably put in tonight or this weekend. Before doing the install I decided to check or get a rough 0-60 time. I did four different starts and on average I got 8.2 seconds. Seems a little slow. I got very little tire slippage so I wouldn't say it's just spinning.

I currently have a drop in K&N Air filter. The car is a 2003 sedan with 69k miles.

I plan on putting on the z tube and then putting on the stillen cai next. However what would people recommend to check out or to do maintenance on with this many miles and also to possibly improve those 0-60 times.. (Plugs?, Plug wires?)

Again thanks for everyones help thus far.

welcome to nico

Yes the 8.2 is slow to the sedan. You should be somewhere at 6 take or give. Is it AT or you got the stick? With the mods for sure you'll cut the time a bit.

I agree with Zozoko. You should be way faster than 8.2. either somethings wrong or you timing method is off. I've had my son do stop watch with me and we hit 5.8 to 6.0 consistently.

Thanks guys. I put the z tube on and it cut my time a little. I have an automatic. So when I ran in at mode I was getting and 8.9 and cut it to an 8.05. I am doing the stopwatch myself and driving so it may be just a little off.

However before I went to put on the tube I had left the keys in the infiniti in the on position. I had my maxima in there also and I heard this faint buzzing noise.(kind of like when you leave your lights on and pull your keys out) It was really faint and so I thought the lights were on in the maxima. Well not the case. It was the infinit making this noise. It sounded like it was the fuel pump buzzing. I know it's supposed to buzz when you first turn to the on position but should stop. I am now wondering if my fuel pump is not delivering correctly. I am going to have it checked out next week at a mechanic.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe the injectors are acting up but I would think the computer would catch that.

I am going to pop charger I think this week also and hopefully I can get those times down.

Thanks for the help
