Hello everyone,

Just had an oil change done, sway bar endlinks replaced as mine were knocking and my diff fluid changed.

My question is now regarding the transmission fluid I know the 7AT is a sealed transmission and the fluid is meant to be lifetime. My question was should i be changing it at a certain interval regardless. I am talking about the drain and fill process not a full flush.

My mechanic also advised that the transmission pan will have to be replaced as well as its rusted pretty bad and the bolts may not go back in once they are taken out.

That leads me to my last question surrounding rust proofing with Krown - anyone have experience with a yay or nay and whether or not it will help preserve my vehicle.

Thank you.

I generally do my transmission fluid every 60kmi...but I say generally cause I haven't done it on this car lol. I'm like 30kmi past due. I usually go to the dealer though so not sure what process they follow for these trannies.
