good news and bad news guys!

GOOD NEWS: had the 08 sport bumper swap done, very happy! (non-sport grille)

not bad compared to what a potato it used to look like

BAD NEWS:

car fresh out of the shop. swap just done... on the highway home, car began to stall and would not accelerate over 80MPH, the RAS, VDC, and SLIP lights all came, after pulling over, shutting the engine off and on, the lights all disappeared and was only left with the Service Engine Soon light

every thread i've searched was basically saying brake fluids... rofl... but could this possibly be related to the recall notice we've got? i found 1 thread which pretty much assumed it had to do with the accelerator sensor

i know the recall notice said, there will be a 2nd notice as to when we can take our cars in, but if it's already happened do you think they'd take it now? need to renew registration and need to redo smog, poopoo service engine soon light

it sounds about right - thats what happen to my car

You can also call infiniti consumer affairs - they should have a list of VINs that are on the recall list

mine was on the list but i had it repaired under my elite extended warranty

Just curious ... did your repair include a new gas pedal? or was it a sensor near the pedal?

What trouble code(s) are you getting, if any?

i'll have it scanned today and report back

for anyone curious, my local infiniti dealer has already gotten the parts and is allowing recalled M's to be brought in for the new parts, so most likely yours has too

It was the sensor behind the pedal and I believe another sensor near the firewall
