I'm getting that light on,,,,and it says emissions....what can it be? something

might be your fuel cap...make sure it's on tight!

pretty much every code that sets off the MIL will be emissions related. If you don't know someone with a scan tool to pull the code, take it to a shop and see what it is.

took it to autozone and this is what it said....

what should I do? and how can I reset my check engine light to see if it comes up again?

Don't take what I say to the bank but if it were me I would either make sure my gas cap is tight and or get a new one from the dealer. Then have autozone clear the codes and see if the light comes back on. Some dealer's are friendly enough to where you can tell them the code your tripping and see what their verbal opinion is...good luck.

I recommend the dealer clear the codes...but, you can do it yourself.

Unplug the negative battery cable and pump the brakes a few times. Connect the cable again and see if the codes clear. If the MIL comes back on, have the dealer diagnose the problem.

Most likely the problem is the fuel cap.
