Heres the deal, I only have 4800 miles and I got it in January of this year. The only mods that I have done was put an injen intake, and 17in wheels on it and my light came on and stays on. I disconnected the battery and the light was off for a week or so but popped back up steadily. I was wondering since I am leasing this car should I put the OEM air box in it before I get it check at the dealership?? Thanks for all the advice in advance!!!! Oh yea by the way I did check my fuel cap!!!

I had same problem, I went to my dealer with Intake on and after market exhaust, they told me that warranty might not work, I smiled in his face and asked him to prove that intake causing that problem, after 2 hours they sad that they didnt found any problems and just reseted sensor, after 2 days same thing happened, another 3 days and I'm totaled my coupe. So now I can see that a lot of 2.5 has same problems with SES light, and its so annoying.

Make sure your gas cap is properly secured. I got the "service engine soon" light (came on while I was driving on the highway) almost two weeks after pumping gas. When I took it to the dealer, they said that my gas cap was a little loose and the system throws a light when it notices that there isn't a proper vacuum. SO make sure its tight and see what happens.

Mine came on one day, the cap was loose. I didn't even bother getting the code checked, I just tightened the cap down and restarted it. It stayed on for a few miles and then went off, I'm assuming this was the only problem.

Like I said in my first post, I already checked my gas cap that is not causing the service engine light. Should I or should I not replace my injen intake for the OEM airbox before I take it to Nissan to get it checked out? Please help, thanks!!!

I took it to the dealer with my Injen on; they didn't say anything about it. (They had before though, when I took for my first free oil change.)
