Hi

I just bought a Nissan Maxima 2000 GLE and the very first day it drove cool but now I can see the Service engine soon, SLIP, TC OFF warning LIGHTS ON. Also when I stop the car at the stop lights I could feel small vibrations in the car And when I proceed I can feel little jerk back and forth.

Dealers cost is high so i want to show my car to a reliable and experienced private mechanic who could get it fixed efficiently with less money.

I live near the intersection of shrock & cleveland ave,columbus,oh-43229.

If somebody can suggest a nice mechanic that would be great also please do tell me what can be the wrong in my car.

Thanks

First step should be to have the car scanned for CEL (service engine soon light) codes. Once we know why the CEL is showing, we'll have more to go on.

Is your ABS light coming on as well?
