Service Engine Soon P0710

Hi guys, a Service Engine Soon light just popped up on my '13 M37 at 34k miles with a P0710 (Transmission Sensor Malfunction). I still have warranty until March so I'm bringing it in on Saturday. Just wondering if anyone here has encountered this issue. I found that lots of G37's from 2013 have had this issue just after a few thousand miles

So after my dealership visit, they simply said that they didn't find any issue and reset the code and it went away. I asked why this code even appeared from the get-go and he said its a non-major code and he doesn't know why. Felt very suspicious for a service engine code light to pop up out of no where but so far it hasn't came back (it's been 2 days). I didn't want to clear the code myself because I was hoping to get this issue fixed asap since my warranty expires in March. Hopefully he's right and it's just a random code. At lease they gave me a free car wash
