Today I got a "Service Engine Soon" Message. My neighbor did a scan using a OBD II, which showed code P0507. I went on Youtube and saw a couple of clips on resetting the idling. I haven't had a chance to replicate that clip, but will tomorrow. Any input from this forum would be welcome.

My neighbor cleared that message the time we checked the P0507 code, so I'm waiting for it to popup gain to try resetting the idling. By the way how do you post a youtube link here? I'm using Tinypic for posting pics here.

The message has not come back on yet. Some 3 weeks ago, I had to change the Air Idling Control Unit at a local shop. Basically, truck would start, but would die out right away. I'm wondering if there's any link between that job and message I recently got.

Yes. You’re supposed to do the idle volume relearn after messing with the iacv. Sounds like the vehicle just kind of learned on its own. It will eventually

Could re-learn procedure be done while "Service Engine Soon" is not on? On Sunday it came back on, but I was in the middle of changing starter and had to disconnect battery, so it's gone for now.
