Whats up guys,

After 2 weeks of purchasing my G35x the damn "service engine soon" light decides to come on and ruin my honey moon with my ride.

Got the code from Auto Zone and it was P0455 - says that a large leak exist in the evaporative emission control system. Whatever the hell that means. Where is the EVAP located? Just curious to know where it is, called the dealer up and turns out the car is still under warranty until December 23, 2008. Lucky me right? Hopefully if anything is going to break down happens before then.

i would try to get it repaired under warranty ASAP... i know most emissions stuff gets expensive and is under warranty... it also might effect your gas milage... so you're losing money everyday you dive with the service light on...

Plus they might find some other problem and that might get fixed under warranty also... you cant lose letting the dealership look at it... at least you will know what the problem is and know your options.

It could be anything from a loose gas cap to a small leaking purge line. There are components of the system from the back of the car all the way to the engine. Diagnosis of this system requires more than basic diagnostic skills and if you do not know what the system is I would recommend you take it in to get fixed.
