OKay, just got car out of shop yesterday. They replaced #5 injector. As it was not working. Car was shaking hard. And had service engine light on. And frigggin Low oil light keeps flickering. ANd i was leaking oil. So got #5 replaced and they tested the rest of them after putting #5 back in and #5 read at 11.0 i think, and the rest were between 11.0 and 11.4. So i told em leave the rest. They changed 2 hoses, 1 was bad other was gonna be bad one day. Changed the oil sensor switch ( ithink thats whats its called.). It was leaking oil. I dont know why. Its been changed like 2-3 times already. SO i stat car, and drive, no problems, no shaking. Get on high way to about 65 or so i guess. And service engine light comes on. WTF.. Now what. Im supposed to go back friday for them to scan it. But i want to know something. Did i/they miss something? Or is this normal? And whats with that stupid oil switch. Its the reason why the LOW OIL light kinda flickers from what i hear. But yet, doesnt work to save my life. Every time i am drving fast and slow down instantly to a stop, light flicker dimish red, solid red, dimish red then its gone. But it felt like the car was going to shut off.. So everyone shoot.

Are you saying the oil light still comes on/flickers AFTER they replaced the oil pressure switch? If so, this could be a major engine killing low oil pressure problem- they need to check oil pressure with a gauge to determine true oil pressures and go from there. The check engine lamp may be on due to a missed vacuum hose connection after tearing into plenum, or something left disconnected, getting the code read will lead to the cause. I am surprised you have had soo many leaky oil pressure switches- my original lasted over 225K- are you keeping up with frequent oil changes?
