I own a 06 M45 Sport. Today out of the blue my Service Engine Light came on, prior to today the car has been running great. There were no warnings, engine noises or any offbeat engine idling.

The following codes came back on the scan: C1185, C1137, C1132, U1010, U1000, P0615, P1705, and P1212.

These codes all seem to have one thing in common. The ECM. Any input, advice or recommendations would be great.

Thanks.

Ohh that's a rough one. That many codes all at once is a HUGE red flag...if it was a sensor you'd get maybe one or two and they'd be the P0 variety. The C codes make me think something much bigger is going on...

To me at first glance it seemed like an ABS module issue, maybe trans... then every other module all at once.
So is the car still driveable? How long have you owned it?

And what's the age of your battery?

I've owned the car for two years and the battery is 4 months old. The car drives great, if it wasn't for the SES light you wouldn't know there was an issue.

There appears to have been a momentary electrical glitch along the line. Delete the codes and see what follows. Watch the battery nonetheless.

Update: Two days after my original post I cleared the codes and to this point they haven't come back. I'll update again if something comes up. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. I hope it stays that way.

After reading everyone's contribution, I'm reminded of a time I drove over a very bumpy gravel road. When I got back on asphalt, the car popped a code that I can't remember, but I believe it was a Uxxxx code.
I cleared it and even after trying to replicate it on the same gravel, it never came back.
