Service engine light- 2004 Murano SE AWD

Please help!!! The service engine light is on but the car seems to be running fine. I'm driving from Dallas, TX to Reno NV and am currently in Flagstaff AZ. Please let me know if it is a mileage thing or what. Thanks.

Could be many things. CEL (Check Engine Light) goes on when the OBD2 is tripped by one of the many sensors that keeps the car running. It is fairly common for the Murano gas cap to be not closed tightly which always trips the CEL. If that isn't it, you need to get it checked out whilst it still runs as it will become very $$$ once the car is not driveable.
